When we commenced operations in 1987, RDP had a single goal of helping companies innovate. The initial focus was to help Canadian companies obtain significant funding through the SR&ED tax credit program introduced by the government in 1985. Subsequently, as the Canadian federal and provincial governments introduced new funding initiatives, RDP began to assist companies in obtaining a wide variety of tax credits and government grants.

In 2006, RDP expanded its innovation management and R&D tax credit and business grant services to the UK and the US. By 2010, RDP’s team of consultants had worked with thousands of companies around the globe. In 2015, RDP set up operations in Ireland.

A Proven Process for Obtaining Tax Credits and Government Funding

RDP will conduct a detailed assessment of your objectives and develop a plan for pursuing funding. This will include:

A FREE initial consultation to review your current strategies, objectives and budgets to assess which of your projects/initiatives are eligible for funding.

A report which includes a matrix of all programs applicable to each of your objectives. You will receive a descriptive summary of each program, and a timeline with recommendations on how to position projects and objectives based on the availability of funds.

Once an agreement has been made between you and RDP in regard to selected funding programs or tax credit applications and their pricing, we will work with you to prepare, draft, submit and follow-up on applications. We also take of the claim reports once a grant is approved.

RDP will continue to monitor the status of hundreds of grant programmes available in your country of operation. When a new programme becomes available, RDP will notify you to ensure that your organization takes full advantage of available funding.
