Technical Associate – Government Grants

This position requires a self-motivated individual to consult with our clients and assist with the preparation of applications for government grants for the businesses. You will liaise with existing clients to monitor grants and potential grant applications; prepare marketing materials, and compile quarterly status reports for clients. In addition, this individual will research and monitor changes and new grant programs in order to provide the most up-to-date information for our clients and RDP internal staff.

You must have strong technical/scientific writing skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be confident and able to speak with business owners on a professional level. You also must have excellent time management and communication skills, with a strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills in order to work to deadlines. Computer/internet research capabilities are also important. Product training and operating procedures will be provided. Past experience with Government Funding applications or business and marketing plans is an asset.
